System Maintenance

In an effort to minimize unexpected system failures and downtime, your computer system should undergo a periodic inspection and cleaning. As a routine maintenance service, we perform the following:
• Remove outer covers from the computer
• Verify & monitor system voltages
• Inspect internal cooling fans (there may be several)
• Inspect internal data and power cabling
• Ensure proper grounding of electrical components
• Remove dust buildup from internal system components
• Remove plug-in circuit boards and clean their electrical
  contact points
• Clean & verify CD/DVD optics
• Clean external screen, keyboard, mouse and computer casing
Typically, this process takes 30-60 minutes per system and should be done on an annual basis, based on 8 hours of use per day. In cases where your computer is routinely used more than 8 hours per day, the frequency of system maintenance should be increased accordingly.

If you'd like to schedule an annual Maintenance service, please feel free to use the Service & Support page of our Web Site.
